Job summary

Southern NH Medical Center is seeking dedicated security officers to protect patients, staff and visitors across our Main Campus and West Campus. You will conduct safety rounds, respond to emergencies, monitor access points, and help maintain a calm, secure environment that supports healing.

What you’ll do includes documenting findings, assisting in crisis management, applying safety procedures, and acting as a first responder for HazMat incidents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain CPI within 90 days of employment.
• One to two years of security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts security rounds of the facility twice per shift.
• Documents findings, identifies hazards, and tests alarms.
• Assists in managing aggressive/combative patients.
• Assists licensed staff in application of restraints.
• Monitors high-risk patients in the ED awaiting disposition.
• Follows Use of Force and emergency procedures.
• Produces clear incident reports and daily activity logs.
