Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Help Desk Specialist to support defense communications in a 24/7 onsite environment in Centennial, CO. You will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware, software, networking, and connectivity while ensuring system availability and mission readiness.

Requirements include 2+ years of experience, Windows and networking skills, strong communication and documentation abilities, and a Bachelor’s degree. A Secret clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Tier 1/2 technical support experience.
• Experience with Windows environments, networking, and enterprise applications.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer service skills.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware, software, applications, networking, and connectivity issues.
• Manage incidents through phone, ticketing, and monitoring systems with timely resolution.
• Troubleshoot Windows systems, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, routing, switching, and secure communications.
• Perform root-cause analysis and track recurring issues to improve support processes.
• Document troubleshooting and corrective actions and upscale complex issues to appropriate teams.
• Support mission operations and SIL activities as needed.
