Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to support a mission-critical communications environment on-site in Denver, CO. The role provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for deployed systems and ensures 24/7 operational availability for users in CUI and Secret environments.

The ideal candidate has 2–8 years in enterprise help desk or NOC, and experience with Windows-based systems, networks, and ticketing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred in IT, CS, cybersecurity, engineering, or related field.
Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
Ability to obtain and maintain CAC.
DoD 8570-compliant certifications (Security+, Network+, A+ or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for mission-critical communication systems in a 24/7 environment.
Monitor and respond to support requests through ticketing/monitoring tools; prioritize incidents.
Troubleshoot network/communications issues including Link 16, JREAP-C, SIPR connectivity, and deployments.
Maintain SIL capabilities; assist with mission initialization activities and ensure system availability.
Escalate advanced issues to SMEs; document solutions and improve support processes.
