Job summary

EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Contract Maintenance Manager (CMM) for the Operations & Maintenance Services supporting Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. The CMM leads a 24/7 healthcare facilities maintenance program ensuring life safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous operations across the hospital infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Must be on site during normal duty hours, but reachable 24/7/365.
• Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) by ASHE.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in medical/healthcare facility O&M, incl. supervision of 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary O&M organization for hospital infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, medical gas, life safety).
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, quality control, and safety programs.
• Serve as primary interface with Government leadership.
• Provide operational leadership for 24/7 healthcare facilities maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, NFPA, OSHA, DHA policies and procedures.
