Job summary

GardaWorld is hiring a Security Command Center Operator in Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Open availability and rotating shifts are required. A NJ SORA license and 1+ year of CCTV/control room security experience are strongly preferred.

Compensations start at $24.40 per hour, with shifts covering day, evening, and overnight hours. You will monitor for threats, write detailed reports, and collaborate with risk functions to ensure client safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or associate degree preferred with progressive experience.
• 1 year of GSOC/central station monitoring experience preferred.
• Active New Jersey SORA license required.
• Shifts include day, evening, and overnight rotations.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes excellent customer service.
• Monitors threats, trends, and incidents affecting client security.
• Writes detailed incident reports with escalation where needed.
• Handles sensitive information with limited supervision.
• Coordinates with risk functions to develop policies and controls.
• Manages security guards and police details as required.
• Monitors access control systems and responds to alarms or malfunctions.
• Supports on-site contract security staff.
• Contributes to security projects including photo ID, card access, and video monitoring.
