MISO is offering a Summer Intern - Operations Analytics in Carmel, IN. You’ll build scheduling and workforce analytics for the 24/7 grid operations, using Power BI, Excel, SQL and Python to surface scheduling risks and support Control Room leadership.

This paid internship runs June 2 to August 13, 2027, full-time on-site, with housing available for qualified students and a focus on real-world projects and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data analytics experience with scheduling and workforce metrics.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine scheduling and workforce analytics for 24/7 grid operations.
• Surface scheduling risks for Control Room leadership using Power BI and Excel.
• Engage in real-world projects like system migrations and training design.

Education

Bachelor's or better in Data Analytics

Bachelor's or better in Industrial Engineering

Masters or better in Industrial Engineering
