Job summary

Gulf Energy Storage Services in Beaumont, Texas seeks a skilled operator to run and maintain a gas storage and pipeline facility. You will perform routine preventative maintenance on pumps, compressors, valves and control equipment, ensuring safe operations and data entry into the reporting system.

Ideal candidates have 2–5+ years of field experience in industrial facilities operations, a valid driver’s license, and strong safety records.

Qualifications

2–5+ years of field experience in industrial facilities operations.
Valid state driver’s license.
Available for rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
General computer skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and Gulf policies.

Responsibilities

Make daily rounds of Underground Salt Storage Wells and related equipment to ensure proper operation and detect leaks or faults.
Operate pumps and compressors (start/stop/adjust speed), perform valve alignment and general maintenance.
Enter data into Gulf’s reporting system.
Interface with operations personnel from Gulf, customers, and vendors.
Work a rotating shift to cover 24x7 operations.
Follow written instructions and procedures from Lead Operator.
