Job summary

Gulf Companies seeks an Operator to safely run and maintain a Gas Storage & Pipeline Facility in Beaumont, TX. You will perform routine maintenance on pumps, compressors, valves, and control equipment, while performing regular inspections and data entry into Gulf’s systems.

The role requires working a 24x7 rotating shift, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with operations teams, customers, and vendors. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of field experience in industrial facilities operations.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Available for rotating shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays).
• General computer skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record of following health, safety, and harassment policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily rounds of underground storage wells and related equipment.
• Operate pumps, compressors, valves, and adjust speeds as needed.
• Enter data into Gulf’s reporting system.
• Interface with operations personnel, customers and vendors.
• Work a rotating 24x7 shift.
• Follow written and verbal instructions from the Lead Operator.
• Adhere to safety and environmental procedures and internal policies.
• Uphold Gulf’s Code of Conduct and operate ethically.
