Job summary

SMS DATA PRODUCTS GROUP, INC. is seeking a WAN Administrator to support AFCENT Enterprise Network with 24/7 operations. The role requires configuring and maintaining WAN transport, troubleshooting BGP/OSPF/EIGRP, and providing first-line support to AFCENT users.

Key responsibilities include testing, cutover planning, and coordination with external agencies to ensure reliable network performance. A DoD clearance is required or ability to obtain Interim Secret.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years’ relevant experience.
• LAN and WAN Enterprise support experience.
• Microsoft server installation, roles, active directory, storage, performance management, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 WAN transport operations support.
• Troubleshoot and develop solutions with LAN/WAN protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Configure, monitor and troubleshoot IP/MPLS backbone network.
• Assist with installation and configuration of WAN transport systems.
• Develop testing and cutover plans for AFCENT WAN equipment.
• Provide first-level technical support to AFCENT users.
