State of Maine's Department of Public Safety – Bureau of Emergency Communications seeks Emergency Communications Specialists to liaison between law enforcement and the public. You will gather caller information promptly and relay it to first responders to ensure rapid, accurate dispatch.

Position requires rotating shifts to provide 24/7 coverage, including weekends and nights. Training certs are provided after six months, with advancement opportunities within the department.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Candidates must pass fingerprint background check and polygraph.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the first point of contact for people in need of help.
• Coordinate effective response to calls for service.
• Develop incident resolution strategies and document calls in CAD.
• Operate communications equipment including CAD and radio systems.
