Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical data center facilities, including diesel generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, and cooling systems.

You will support safe operations and 24/7 uptime across multiple sites. The role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical skills, ability to travel between sites, and flexibility for long shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products experience.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, or holidays in a 24/7/365 environment.

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds and monitoring of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
• Monitor Building Management Systems and Electrical Power Management System.
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs.
• Perform rack installs and decommissioning within SLA.
• PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
