Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Critical Facility Technician to support 24/7 mission-critical data center infrastructure in Atlanta. You will monitor, operate, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and building systems across day, swing, and night shifts, following SOPs, safety standards, and escalation protocols.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in data center operations or a related technical environment.
• Hands-on experience with UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC, or building automation systems.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and procedures.
• Knowledge of NFPA, NEC, OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• Use BMS, EPMS, and DCIM to monitor performance, identify alarms, and respond to abnormal conditions.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to schedules and procedures.
• Follow SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs accurately and consistently.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, support incident response, and escalate conditions affecting uptime.
• Coordinate and oversee vendor work to ensure safe, professional completion.
• Maintain shift logs, readings, maintenance records, and incident documentation.
• Follow LOTO, electrical safety, arc flash, and OSHA procedures.
• Support commissioning, testing, and minor project work.
