Core Scientific, Inc. is seeking a Command Center Specialist to monitor and support day-to-day operations across our data center environments. You will ensure timely incident response, maintain documentation, and communicate critical events to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field or 3 years of relevant data center, Command Center, or operational support experience required
• Experience with operational monitoring, incident response, and infrastructure event coordination within a data center or Command Center environment required
• Understanding of ITIL service delivery concepts preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with Slack, Confluence, Ignition, and CMMS systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor operational data, incidents, and system alerts while maintaining accurate communication and documentation across Command Center operations
• Monitor operational and business-impacting metrics related to power utilization, system performance, and digital asset operations
• Support operational incidents, service requests, and change activities across data center environments following established procedures
• Escalate operational incidents, system alarms, and critical events per procedures
• Document operational incidents and coordinate timely communication with cross-functional teams during incident response
• Maintain incident records and shift documentation for visibility and reporting
• Provide timely updates to leadership during operational events
• Coordinate with on-site teams during emergencies to maintain continuity
• Manage multiple tasks and escalations in a 24/7 environment
• Identify gaps and contribute to SOP enhancements and efficiency efforts
• Foster professional communication within the team and across the organization
