Job summary

KBR is seeking a Stationary Engineer to support a government client in Aurora, Colorado. The role focuses on operating and maintaining critical utility plants and coordinating 24/7 teams to ensure continuous mission support and system reliability.

Qualified candidates will have a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a high school diploma, and at least seven years of facilities operations experience. The position includes comprehensive benefits and a competitive salary in the CO area.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required or must be able to obtain.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 7 years of facilities operations experience.
• Management experience with 24/7 operations.
• Ability to obtain site-specific clearances and safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maintenance and operation of chiller and generator plants.
• Direct and manage all contractor personnel at Utility Plants and rooms; maintain distribution equipment.
• Oversee 24/7 operations to ensure continuous mission support and reliability.
• Provide leadership to 24/7 teams, technicians, and vendors; give guidance and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, standards, and regulations.
• Implement preventive maintenance and scheduling; monitor environmental controls.
• Adhere to contractual requirements and regulatory/environmental requirements.
• Utilize data analysis to improve equipment performance cost-effectively.
• Respond rapidly to emergencies to safeguard operations and data integrity.
• Execute disaster recovery protocols and maintain operational reliability.
• Develop training plans for 24/7 staff to respond to anomalies.
