Job summary

KBR is seeking a Stationary Engineer to support a government client in Aurora, Colorado. You will oversee the operation and maintenance of critical facilities, ensuring continuous performance for 24/7 mission support.

Lead contractor teams, implement preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. A TS/SCI with polygraph is required or eligible, with related certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 7 years facilities operations experience.
• State/local license/certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience managing 24/7/365 operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maintenance and operation of chiller and generator plants.
• Direct operations and maintenance of critical facilities for 24/7 mission support.
• Oversee 24/7 teams, technicians and vendors with safety compliance.
• Implement preventive maintenance and scheduling; monitor controls.
• Ensure contractual and regulatory standards are met.
• Lead training plans for 24/7 staff.
• Respond rapidly to emergencies and equipment failures.
• Use data analysis to improve equipment performance and cost efficiency.
