Job summary

Qualifications

• At least three years of supervisory experience in a public safety or records management environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with year-for-year substitutions allowed.
• Must have or obtain a valid driver's license by day one.
• Must pass criminal records and employment reference checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operations and activities of the MCSO Corrections Records Unit.
• Oversee development of work schedules, plans, goals and objectives.
• Evaluate staff and enforce disciplinary actions as needed.
• Provide expert knowledge of corrections records management for meetings and committees.
• Analyze and review federal, state, and local laws to ensure compliance.
• Assist with management of a multi-million dollar budget.
