Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Devens, MA seeks a Manager, Cell Therapy Manufacturing to oversee 24/7 GMP‑compliant production of clinical and commercial cell therapy products.

You will lead daily operations, ensure documentation adherence, mentor staff, supervise operators in media prep, cell processing and fill operations, and drive safety, quality, and cross‑functional collaboration with manufacturing, quality and supply teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in science or engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in cGMP bioprocessing or cell therapy manufacturing.
• Experience with cell therapy techniques, aseptic processing, and GMP compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and ensure adherence to manufacturing documentation and policies.
• Manage daily operations of 24/7 GMP manufacturing.
• Maintain compliant and safe environments in the facility.
• Lead investigations and CAPAs, driving corrective actions.
• Foster a culture of safety and teamwork across shifts.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication between manufacturing, QA, and supply.
• Supervise operators in GMP processes (media prep, cell processing, fill operations).
• Mentor and develop staff to meet quality and productivity goals.
