Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Media and Buffer Preparation Supervisor to oversee media, buffer, and stock solution preparation in biopharmaceutical cell therapy manufacturing. On-site role in Boston, five days a week, with potential ad hoc flexibility.

Responsibilities include daily operations management, prioritization, troubleshooting, and leading a team while ensuring GMP compliance. The candidate will support process improvements, scale-up, automation, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• BS in Biochemistry, Engineering, Biology or related field with 7+ years industry experience (MS with 6+ years acceptable).
• Hands-on experience in media/buffer prep and GMP operations.
• Experience leading a team in lab or manufacturing settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of media and buffer preparation and stock solutions.
• Prioritize tasks, troubleshoot, and maintain smooth workflow.
• Provide team leadership and ensure GMP compliance.
• Support process improvements, scale-up, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
