Job summary
Texas Tissue Converting is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation in Conroe, TX. This on-site role covers troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and preventive maintenance on automated equipment.
You will work with conveyors, paper rewinders, pumps, bearings, motors, and related machinery. Strong electrical/mechanical knowledge and CMMS experience are essential to ensure safe, reliable plant operation.
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial maintenance within manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical components, circuits, controls, and motors.
- Experience reading electrical drawings, mechanical schematics, and manufacturer specs.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspect equipment.
- Identify potential failures and repair before production impact.
- Repair motors, pumps, rollers, conveyors, and packaging equipment.
- Read and interpret drawings, schematics, manuals, and specs.
