Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking personnel to monitor and schedule flight and ground activities within special use airspace and restricted areas as part of a 24/7 rotating shift. The role involves coordinating with multiple agencies to ensure mission success and safety, with duties spanning radio communications, radar operations, and incident reporting.

The position requires knowledge of ATC directives, safety procedures, and the ability to work under deadlines in a high-operations environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Accredited military ATC school or FAA program involving aviation.
• 1+ years in civilian or military aviation work environment; 2+ years in military range operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor airspace and provide range advisories and status updates using radar and comms.
• Control access and monitor ground movement within restricted areas.
• De-conflict range activities to maintain safety and priority sequencing.
• Coordinate actions during emergencies including Search and Rescue with agencies.
• Configure and monitor radios, displays, and radar equipment; troubleshoot as needed.
• Provide feedback to trainees when assigned by supervisor.
• Perform other duties as directed and applicable to range operations.
• Apply air traffic control and range operation procedures.
