Job summary

Obsolete Site is seeking an Air Traffic Controller to provide tower, radar, and non-radar ATC services for military and civilian aircraft operating under IFR, SVFR, or VFR. The role includes directing aircraft movement, sequencing, spacing, and issuing clearances in Class D airspace, with duties to inform adjacent sectors of changes and assist in training.

The position requires certification in assigned facilities and the ability to work rotational shifts, including on-call duties and TDY travel

Qualifications

• Experience issuing control instructions for VFR/IFR aircraft.
• Ability to direct aircraft movement using various reports and radar displays.
• Experience sequencing and spacing in Class D airspace.

Responsibilities

• Provide tower, radar, and non-radar ATC services for IFR/SVFR/VFR.
• Direct movement of aircraft in flight and on ground using reports, visuals, or radar.
• Sequence, space, and issue clearances in Class D airspace.
• Inform adjacent sectors of routing/altitude changes and equipment malfunctions.
• Assist in on-the-job training of developmental controllers.
