JT4 is seeking a non-rated technician to monitor flight and ground activities within special use airspace in North Las Vegas, Nevada. This role involves handling communications with aircraft and coordinating safety advisories. The position requires a high school diploma and military aviation training.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a civilian or military aviation work environment.
• 2+ years of experience in military (range) operations.
• Good visual acuity and the ability to discern all colors of the spectrum.

Responsibilities

• Monitors autonomous and tactical controlled aircraft activities.
• Controls access and monitors movement of ground activities.
• De-conflicts range activities aligning them by designated priority.

Skills

Knowledge of Air Force, DoD, and FAA flight directives

Ability to communicate effectively with pilots

Demonstrated knowledge of operational safety and security guidelines

Planning/organizational skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Completion of an accredited military air traffic control school
