Job summary

RULH Elementary is seeking reliable and caring individuals to serve as 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) Tutors for our after-school and summer extended learning program. Tutors support elementary students by providing academic assistance, mentoring, and helping facilitate engaging enrichment activities.

Tutors provide small-group and one-on-one support in reading, math, and homework, assist with STEM and literacy activities, and help maintain a safe, structured environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable, positive, and supportive when working with students.

Responsibilities

• Provide small-group and one-on-one academic support in reading, math, and homework completion.
• Assist teachers and program staff with educational enrichment activities including STEM, literacy, and hands-on learning.
• Build positive relationships with students and encourage engagement in learning.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive program environment.
• Supervise students during activities and transitions.
