Job summary

Abbott is seeking a 2027 Winter Co-op in Minnesota for a 6–8 month program, with hands-on projects across divisions such as Structural Heart, Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, Heart Failure, and Diagnostics. Eligible students must be enrolled in an accredited engineering program and able to work full-time on site.

Qualifications

What You’ll Work On

Required Qualifications

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering program in the following :
• Systems Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Computer Science and Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Biomedical Engineering
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Candidate must be available to work full‑time (40 hours/week) onsite during the Co‑op session
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• Students must be able to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now and in the future at any point in time
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal direct supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Juniors status students are preferred
