Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Los Angeles invites engineering students to join a 6–8 month Winter Co-op program. You will gain hands-on experience across Abbott divisions, working on meaningful projects with teams across regulatory affairs, biology, and life sciences, while developing technical and professional skills.

Applicants should be enrolled in an accredited engineering program with a minimum 3.0 GPA, able to work full‑time onsite in the US, and possess strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) onsite during the Co-op session
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• US work authorization now and in the future without sponsorship

What You’ll Work On

Required Qualifications

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering program in the following:
  • Systems Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Computer Science and Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Biomedical Engineering
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Candidate must be available to work full‑time (40 hours/week) onsite during the Co‑op session
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• Students must be able to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now and in the future at any point in time
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal direct supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Juniors status students are preferred
