What You Will Do

RTX BBN Technologies, a high-tech research & development company, seeks a summer 2027 intern looking to support technical and program management staff while learning valuable workplace skills. They would be a creative self-starter that is organized, hands-on, and people-centered to fill multiple introductory roles in our Physical Sciences & Systems (PS2) business unit.

This position is for a current or recent STEM college student with a general background in computer software and/or hardware development. Additional background in electrical or mechanical engineering, physics/acoustics, mathematics, and/or signal processing is highly desired.

A successful individual possesses the ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively with the product development, test, and program management teams to perform various low-level tasks. The candidate shall have the desire and aptitude to further develop their current skill set through active participation in a professional engineering product development and test environment.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in STEM and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.

• Relocation Eligibility

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
