Job summary

LPU Batangas in Minneapolis, MN offers a hands-on internship in construction project coordination. You will shadow project managers, site superintendents, estimators, and safety teams, gaining exposure to meetings, documentation, and on-site processes.

Ideal candidates are college students with strong MS Office skills and excellent verbal and written communication, plus the ability to manage time and follow company policies. Compensation is provided at $25 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Project Managers by attending meetings, bidding, scheduling, and learning construction methods and specifications.
• Shadow Site Superintendents by assisting with documentation, meeting minutes, daily logs, jobsite photos, and inspections.
• Shadow Estimators by working with Preconstruction and Estimating teams, attending meetings and pricing.
• Shadow Safety team to understand OSHA standards and perform site safety inspections.
• Participate in other meetings and professional development opportunities as appropriate.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Shadow Project Managers by attending meetings, bidding, scheduling, and learning construction methods, terminology, planning, and specifications using Procore and other software
• Shadow Site Superintendents by assisting with construction documentation, preparing and distributing meeting minutes, daily logs, jobsite photos, schedules, and performing jobsite inspections and punch list walk-throughs
• Shadow Estimators by working with the Preconstruction and Estimating team, attending meetings, estimating, pricing, and understanding estimating software and processes
• Shadow Safety team to understand safety principles with emphasis on OSHA standards and perform job site safety inspections
• Participate in other meetings and professional development opportunities as appropriate

Physical and Environmental Demands

The role requires frequent sitting, talking, hearing, and using hands to handle objects or tools. Occasional standing and walking are required. Rarely lifting or moving up to 10 pounds. Vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
