Job summary

NICO National Indemnity Company in Omaha, Nebraska invites rising juniors and seniors to apply for its Summer Internship Program. This 11-week, full-time internship offers meaningful exposure to the insurance industry through hands-on experiences, mentorship, and impactful project work.

What to Expect

Our SummerInternship positions are in Omaha, Nebraska and include:

• An 11‑week summer internship program

• Standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• 40 hours per week, beginning in late May and concluding in early August

• Approximately 30 hours per week working within an assigned department

• Approximately 10 hours per week dedicated to professional development opportunities, including:

• Capstone Project

• Job Shadowing

• Business Skills Development

• Networking and leadership experiences
