NICO National Indemnity Company invites students to join its Summer Internship Program in Omaha, Nebraska. This 11-week program runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., blending hands-on work with structured professional development activities.

Interns gain exposure to insurance operations, work within an assigned department, and participate in capstone projects, job shadowing, and leadership experiences designed to build skills and professional networks for future careers.

What to Expect

• Our Summer Internship positions are in Omaha, Nebraska and include:


• An 11-week summer internship program


• Standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


• 40 hours per week , beginning in late May and concluding in early August


• Approximately 30 hours per week working within an assigned department


• Approximately 10 hours per week dedicated to professional development opportunities, including:




• Capstone Project


• Job Shadowing


• Business Skills Development


• Networking and leadership experiences
