Job summary

NICO National Indemnity Company, a BHHC member, offers a Summer Internship Program in Omaha, Nebraska. The program provides immersive insurance industry exposure, mentorship, and leadership development through hands-on projects and structured learning experiences for incoming juniors and rising seniors.

The 11‑week internship runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with about 30 hours in the assigned department and 10 hours in professional development activities such as Capstone Projects,

What To Expect

Our Summer Internship positions are in Omaha, Nebraska and include:

• An 11-week summer internship program
• Standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• 40 hours per week, beginning in late May and concluding in early August
• Approximately 30 hours per week working within an assigned department
• Approximately 10 hours per week dedicated to professional development opportunities, including:
• Capstone Project
• Job Shadowing
• Business Skills Development
• Networking and leadership experiences
