Job summary

PACCAR's Peterbilt Motors Company in Denton, Texas is seeking a Business Intern to join the Warranty team. You will perform ad-hoc data analysis, build dashboards in Tableau, and support warranty processing improvements while gaining hands-on exposure to real-world data.

You must be enrolled in a Business or Data Analytics program. Preferred candidates bring SQL, Python, Tableau skills, strong analytical ability, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Business, Data Analytics or related program.
• Strong analytical capabilities and problem solving.
• Experience with data visualization and dashboards is a plus.
• Effective communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, relevant ad-hoc data analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Create and implement dashboards and reports in Tableau.
• Lead warranty audit projects to improve processing and reduce costs.
• Develop and maintain training materials for dealerships and internal staff.
• Assist with warranty training programs, including updating modules and webinars.
• Contribute to projects aimed at improving warranty processing and savings.

Requisition Summary

Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, has an internship for students currently enrolled in college. This opening is for a Business Intern to add to our Warranty team in Denton, Texas.

Job Responsibilities

This position will be working on various projects and reports to include but not limited to:

• Provide accurate, relevant, and meaningful ad-hoc data analysis to support strategic and tactical decision-making
• Create and implement dashboards and reports in Tableau
• Lead warranty audit projects aimed at improving warranty processing and achieving cost savings
• Develop and maintain training and reference materials for both dealerships and internal staff
• Assist with warranty training programs, including updating online modules, preparing monthly webinars, and enhancing the warranty procedure manual
• Contribute to assigned projects aimed at improving warranty processing and achieving cost savings

Required Qualifications

The candidate we seek will be currently enrolled in a Business, Data Analytics or a related program.
