Job summary

Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR subsidiary in Denton, Texas, offers a Supplier Development Management Intern position for students enrolled in college. You will join the North American Materials team and work on supplier performance projects, data collection, and reporting to help improve capacity, quality, and delivery reliability.

You will collaborate with Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and Materials to develop dashboards, participate in risk assessments, and track corrective actions.

Qualifications

• :Currently enrolled in Engineering / Supply Chain / Operations / Business Analytics / Business Administration or related degree program.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and report on tests.

Responsibilities

• Support supplier development initiatives focusing on improving supplier performance, capacity, quality, and delivery reliability.
• Assist with supplier capacity assessments, manufacturing process evaluations, and identification of production bottlenecks.
• Collect, analyze, and report supplier performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Support supplier recovery and continuous improvement projects by tracking corrective actions, milestones, and results.
• Assist in developing dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate supplier performance and project status to management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and Materials, to support supplier development activities.
• Participate in supplier risk assessments, production readiness reviews, and supply chain improvement initiatives.

Requisition Summary

Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, has an internship for students currently enrolled in college. This opening is for a Supplier Development Management Intern Intern to add to our North American Materials team in Denton, Texas.

Job Responsibilities

This position will be working on various projects and reports to include but not limitedto:

Required Qualifications

The candidate we seek will be currently enrolled in an Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or related degree program.
