HarperCollins Publishers in New York, NY invites applications for an editorial internship supporting the William Morrow imprint. You will work with Associate Editors across author relations, manuscript routing, and launch preparation, gaining hands-on experience in submissions, copy writing, and jacket design.
Responsibilities include learning publishing workflows, assisting with submissions and awards, drafting memos, and helping with upcoming titles.
In this role, you will be involved across aspects of the editorial administrative day-to-day of the William Morrow imprint. You will report to two Associate Editors and will learn and be responsible for key tasks involved in author relations, manuscript routing and evaluation, seasonal book launch preparation, fact sheet and copy writing, jacket design, and other areas. This is a great opportunity to do hands‑on work with the editors responsible for prominent titles in fiction and nonfiction.
