Responsibilities

• Develop new aftertreatment and exhaust system designs, testing and release for production.
• Contribute to new concepts and designs that result to reduce cost of the aftertreatment and exhaust systems.
• Assisting with the build of test properties and supporting associated validation efforts.
• Other tasks as needed to support concurrent powertrain and exhaust program launches.

Requisition Summary

Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, has aninternship for students currently enrolled in college. This opening is for a Design Engineer Intern to add to our Powertrain Aftertreatment and Exhaust team in Denton, Texas.

Job Responsibilities

This position will be working on various projects and reports to include but not limited to:

• Develop new aftertreatment and exhaust system designs, testing and release for production
• Contribute to new concepts and designs that result reduce cost of the aftertreatment and exhaust systems
• Assisting with the build of test properties and supporting associated validation efforts
• Other tasks as needed to support concurrent powertrain and exhaust program launches

Required Qualifications

The candidate we seek will be currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering or a related program.
