Job summary

Leonardo DRS, Inc. EOIS division in Melbourne, FL is seeking a university intern in Business Administration or MBA to support planning and supply chain activities.

You will collaborate with planning, project accounting, and management on material planning and reporting. Responsibilities include creating purchase requisitions, maintaining production schedules, generating reports, and ensuring alignment with MPS.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a junior or senior in a 4-year BBA or MBA program with a 3.0+ GPA.
• Able to adapt to multiple projects and tasks quickly.
• Strong listening and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of office procedures and clear writing and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive consistent communications between planning, project accounting, and project management for consistent project Material EAC’s and Execution Charts.
• Create appropriate documentation to plan material deliveries and monitor the supply chain.
• Consolidate demand for purchase requisitions.
• Create purchase requisitions based on the Master Production Schedule.
• Create reports for distribution to program office, customer visits and management.
• Maintain manufacturing build plans on a daily basis.
• Highlight critical parts and any issue, which may keep operations from meeting the MPS.
• Coordinate engineering changes with purchasing and production. Ensure disposition of obsolete material.
• Support, communicate and defend the mission, values and culture of the company.

• Knowledge of office procedures and good writing and verbal skills
