Leonardo DRS is seeking a 2027 Summer Supply Chain Intern in Melbourne, FL. This hybrid co-op offers 20 hours per week during part-time periods and a first shift. The role supports Material Program Management and IPTs with data management, reporting, and process learning.

Ideal candidates are enrolled students in supply chain or related fields, with strong communication, MS Office, and an interest in ERP/MRP systems and Power BI. U.S. citizenship is required for some clearances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and enrolled college student pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Ability to communicate successfully orally and in writing.
• Ability to efficiently utilize standard office software and computer equipment.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Job Summary

Provides entry-level professional administrative and program support to Material Program Management and Integrated Project Teams. Supports supply-chain coordination, data management, reporting, meeting activities, and problem identification while developing knowledge of material planning processes and systems. Maintains a professional company image and upholds the organization’s mission, values, and culture.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform professional administrative work of an introductory nature in preparation for career advancement
• Perform entry-level professional administrative staff duties in support of functional areas, gradually increasing in level of difficulty and responsibility
• Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction
• Type and word-process draft documents and electronic information
• Prepare routine reports with guidance
• Manage, organize, and update relevant data using database applications
• Assist in arranging meetings, conferences, and project team activities
• Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials
• Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
