The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco offers a 10.5-week paid Technical Intern program for college and graduate students, hosted in San Francisco. Interns will work in teams across Banking Supervision, Statistics + Reserves, IT Services, and more, applying computer science, data analytics, and software engineering skills.
You will receive mentorship, orientation, training, a housing stipend, a transportation stipend, and opportunities to network.

Technical interns will use skills like computer programming and data analytics to work on a variety of important projects, solutions, and deliverables within their assigned group. Interns will gain experience, exposure, help to move us forward and influence innovation, solutions, and efficiency.
For internship roles (based on position/experience/location):
$21.00 - $36.00/hourly
October - December 2026 Application reviews & internship interviews
