The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco invites high-potential students to join its Technical Intern program for the summer. You will work within one of the SF Fed teams—Banking Supervision, Statistics + Reserves, IT Services, Fed Financial Services, or Operations & Safety—on meaningful projects using computer science, data analytics, and related fields.

Desired areas of study (but not limited to): Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Math, Software Engineering, Statistics, Physics Technical interns will use skills like computer programming and data analytics, to work on a variety of important projects, solutions, and deliverables within their assigned group. Interns will gain experience, exposure, help to move us forward and influence innovation, solutions, and efficiency.

Full-time undergraduate or graduate students currently enrolled in an accredited community college, four-year college, or university with an expected graduation date between December 2027 – June 2029 U.S. Citizen or Permanent Residency Keen interest in public service, and the overall mission-driven work of the SF Fed Demonstrated leadership ability Ability to work 40 hours per week for the full duration of the 10.5-week internship Ability to work 5 days per week in-office
Salary range for internship roles (based on position/experience/location): $21.00 - $36.00/hourly
