• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• CAD experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers and project managers with active water, wastewater, stormwater, and municipal engineering projects.
• Assist with project research, data collection, and organization.
• Support engineers with project documentation, reports, and technical materials.
• Assist with fieldwork and site visits as needed.

This position is designed for a college student interested in gaining hands‑on experience in the civil and environmental engineering industry, particularly in water, wastewater, stormwater, and municipal engineering.

This internship provides an opportunity to see how engineering projects move from concept to completion. You'll gain exposure to real municipal and infrastructure projects while developing practical skills that can help prepare you for a career in civil or environmental engineering. The Project Assistant will work alongside experienced engineers and project managers, contribute to ongoing projects, and have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact to real projects in the communities we serve.
