Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey seeks a hospitality-focused team member to be the first face for fans and to support matchday operations. You will help with stadium setup, breakdown, and conversion for various matches, coordinating with departments and external parties to ensure seamless events.

About the Role

The role serves as the first face and experience that fans encounter at Sports Illustrated Stadium. It supports matchday and stadium operations for MLS, NWSL, and international matches at the stadium. The position coordinates with other departments and outside parties to ensure successful event planning and execution. The candidate must be ready to make a positive first impression, provide professional hospitality, and answer guest questions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first face and experience for fans at Sports Illustrated Stadium.
• Support operations of Sports Illustrated Stadium, including stadium setup, breakdown, staging, and conversion for matches.
• Coordinate with other Red Bull New York departments to ensure successful event planning and execution.
• Liaise with outside parties (visiting teams, referees, league officials, vendors, partners, etc.) to ensure all needs are met.
• Support Red Bull New York (MLS) matches, NJ/NY Gotham FC (NWSL) matches, and international matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium.
• Perform other designated assigned duties.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform moderate labour over the course of a full event (8-12 hours).
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
• Experience demonstrating professionalism around professional athletes and teams while maintaining composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions in a team environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines, accomplish work in order of priority, effectively multitask, and deliver consistently at a high level.
• Availability to work 75% of events throughout the season to remain on staff for the following season.
• Ability to make a positive first impression and treat people with the professional level of hospitality expected at Sports Illustrated Stadium.
• Knowledge to answer questions from guests.
