Job summary

Red Bull New York is seeking a stadium operations hospitality teammate for Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey. You will be the first face guests meet, delivering friendly service and answering questions with knowledge of the venue and events.

Responsibilities include assisting with event setup, coordinating with team departments, and liaising with visiting teams and officials to ensure smooth matches, including MLS, NWSL, and international fixtures.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform moderate labor during events (8–12 hrs).
• Professionalism around pro athletes and teams, even under pressure.
• Ability to meet deadlines, multitask and maintain high performance.
• Must be available to work 75% of events throughout the season.

Job description

Red Bull New York (“RBNY”) are one of 30 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS) and one of the league’s ten original charter clubs. Founded in 1996, RBNY has competed in MLS since its inception. RBNY’s First Team plays its home matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey and its Second Team plays its home matches at Montclair State University. Position Summary

This position will serve as the first face and experience that fans will encounter at Sports Illustrated Stadium. Candidates who will excel in this role must be ready to make a positive first impression, treat people with a professional level of hospitality expected at SIS, and be knowledgeable to answer questions from our guests.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

• An individual with the ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform moderate labor over the course of a full event (8-12 hrs). Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
• Experience showing professionalism around pro athletes/teams, while maintaining composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions in a team environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines; accomplish work in order of priority; effectively multitask and deliver consistently at a high level.
• Must be available to work 75% of events throughout the season in order to stay on staff for the following season

Due to the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, you may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the company. The hourly rate for this position is $20/ hour. The hourly rate is subject to change and may be modified.
