Transcard's IT Security internship in Chattanooga, TN offers hands-on exposure to security operations during standard business hours. This intern position will operate Monday-Friday during standard business hours. This position is a paid internship, compensation will be based on the qualifications of the applicant.

We prefer our interns to be onsite in Chattanooga, TN. We do offer remote capabilities for qualified individuals. Candidate must reside in the US. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship.

The IT Security internship will start with a one-on-one meeting with the Chief Information Security Officer or their designated manager to discuss the professional goal of the student's academic coursework to ensure they are meeting all academic requirements during this internship. Additionally, the internship will be supervised by the Information Security Manager to provide routine feedback and status updates. There will be an exit interview with the Chief Information Security Officer and Information Security Program Manager with the objective being continuous improvement of the internship program.
The Information Security internship will provide exposure to a variety of state-of-the-art security technologies, such as: SIEM, DLP, AV, FW, and DAST/SAST technologies, as well as participation in security architectural design meetings and continuous improvement initiatives and experience actual day-in-the-life activities of an information security professional.
