Job summary

RTX is seeking a candidate for a role in Mission Systems, onsite in the US. You will work in a cross-functional team, develop and trace requirements for military communications systems, and engage with model-based systems engineering tools and processes under mentorship.

You will gain hands-on experience with agile environments, system modeling, and collaboration with security and certification specialists, contributing to security-hardened product delivery.

What You Will Do:

• Perform in a cross-functional agile team
• Work in close coordination with a mentor using Collins Aerospace engineering processes
• Creation, decomposition, and tracing requirements for communications systems on military platforms, both air and ground applications.
• Work with a model-based systems engineering application to createlogicaland physical design diagrams.
• Perform integration and testing for these communications solutions.
• Support future bids and proposalsprovidingnew business opportunities.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Familiarity with RTX systems, processes, and tools.
• Experience in systems engineering to include capturing customer requirements, operations concept development, or deriving and tracing system and sub-system requirements.
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering concepts and tools such as Magic Draw Cameo, Enterprise Architect, or similar resources usingSysML.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and being part of highly integrated Agile teams working closely with multiple engineering development teams (SW, HW, Cyber,orSys).
• Experience with the Atlassian Suite such as Jira or Confluence.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
