Job summary

ABB offers a two-year rotational program beginning with a July orientation, spanning manufacturing operations, supply chain, purchasing, logistics, procurement, HSE, continuous improvement and supervision. Rotations may be 6 months, 6 months, and 12 months within Electrification, tailored by interests and business needs.

Participants will design and execute manufacturing projects, update production lines, and implement lean practices while supporting operations and training across multiple

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Safety Management, Environmental, Health and Safety Engineering (or related).
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies.
• Proven project management experience with ability to manage timelines and deliverables.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced functions and data analysis.
• Open to relocation across the U.S. for each program rotation; relocation assistance provided.

Responsibilities

• Support risk assessments and ensure effective hazard controls are implemented.
• Coordinate incident reporting and assist investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Promote a strong safety and environmental culture by coaching employees and reinforcing safe work practices.
• Support the implementation of HSE programs, projects, objectives, and improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to social events and network within ABB.
