Job summary

Voyager Technologies is recruiting for a 10-week Growth & Business Development internship as part of a hands-on program designed for highly motivated undergraduates. The role offers exposure to mentorship, networking, and professional development while contributing to real growth projects.

The internship will be based at one of two US locations, Houston, TX or Long Beach, CA, with responsibilities spanning market research, materials development, data tracking, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university.
• Demonstrated interest in business development, growth strategy, market research, or related business functions.

• Ability to travel for in-person orientation and program kickoff, as well as for the final presentation at program completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with market research, opportunity identification, and analysis of potential customers, partners, markets, and business opportunities.
• Support the development and organization of business development materials, presentations, research summaries, and other customer- or partner-facing content.
• Assist with tracking and organizing business opportunities, market information, and other relevant data.
• Participate in customer, partner, and internal meetings to gain exposure to business development and growth activities.
• Support research and analysis related to markets, competitors, customers, partners, and industry trends.
• Assist with the development of presentations, proposals, or other materials supporting business and growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners on assigned projects.
• Contribute ideas and insights that support business growth, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
• Complete assigned projects and deliverables accurately and within established timelines.

Job Summary:

We are seeking highly motivated emerging talent to participate in a10-week immersive internship program from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027. This program offers university students hands-on experience through project-based work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Throughout the program, Interns will have exposure to mentorship, networking, and professional development opportunities.

The Growth & Business Development intern will support Voyager Technologies at one of the following locations:

• Houston, TX
• Long Beach, CA

The Growth & Business Development Intern will support the team with a variety of activities related to business growth, market research, customer and partner engagement, and strategic initiatives. The intern will gain exposure to business development fundamentals while contributing to projects that support the organization’s growth objectives.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Assist with market research, opportunity identification, and analysis of potential customers, partners, markets, and business opportunities.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university, preferably pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in business development, growth strategy, market research, or related business functions.
• Strong critical and creative thinking skills.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Ability to learn new industries, markets, processes, and tools.
• Ability to travel for in-person orientation and program kickoff, as well as for the final presentation at program completion.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship, coursework, academic project, or other relevant experience.
• Experience with research, presentations, business analysis, project management, or customer-facing activities.
• Curiosity about industries, markets, and emerging business opportunities.
• Interest in developing skills in business development, market research, customer engagement, or strategic growth.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize information into clear, concise materials.
• Adaptability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Hourly Pay Range: $23.50-$30.00 per hour

*Hourly rate determined by academic year, college major, line of business, geography
