Job summary

Textron Systems seeks a Legal Co‑op in Maryland to gain hands‑on experience across Ethics & Compliance, Employment Law and Litigation. You will work under in‑house counsel and contribute to a variety of projects designed to meet business needs.

During the role, you'll engage in risk assessments, internal investigations, and contract negotiations, while developing regulatory and import/export knowledge. This program emphasizes mentorship and hands‑on learning.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Juris Doctorate.
• The applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

About This Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

The legal co-op will be exposed to a broad array of hands-on opportunities in the areas such as risk assessments, internal investigations, employment/labor, commercial contracts, litigation/disputes, facilities/leases, intellectual property, NDAs, regulatory audits, contract negotiations, legal training, import/export matters, ethics & compliance, and/or other areas to meet business needs.
