Qualifications

  • Entering either junior or senior year of college; seniors graduating December 2027 or later are eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and resolve issues regarding natural gas transportation scheduling, allocations, and imbalances.
  • Provide excellent customer service and promptly resolve customer issues.
  • Process nominations and confirmations following federally mandated deadlines.
  • Work with producers, marketers, and downstream interconnects to manage/minimize imbalances.
  • Assist with processing allocations of physical flow.
  • Execute on daily commercial activities that require nominations.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by NAESB and the pipelines FERC tariff.
  • Lead special projects and contribute to testing efforts of system enhancements.
  • Maintain positive relationships with pipelines, producers, marketers and internal business owners.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

BUSINESS UNIT:NATURALGASPIPELINES

With approximately66,000 milesof natural gas pipelines, Kinder Morgan owns an interest in oroperatesthe largest natural gas network in North America. We serve the major consuming markets of the United States, and our pipelines transport approximately 40 percent of the natural gas consumed in the U.S. Our pipelines are connected to every important natural gas resource play and supply area, including the Eagle Ford, Marcellus, Bakken, Utica, Uinta Permian, Haynesville,Fayettevilleand Barnett.

What You Will Do

Over the course of the Summer 2027 internship, the candidate will have the opportunity to learn the following:

What You Need
Education:
  • Candidate must be working towards Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance.
  • Entering either junior or senior year of college. Senior students must be graduating in December 2027 or later to be eligible.
Work Location:
  • Work location will be Houston Headquarters based in Houston, TX.
