What You Will Do

The internship opportunities will be focused in one or more of the following areas:

  • Automation Engineering including exposure to the techniques, hardware and programming languages employed to provide automatic and unattended operation of natural gas compressor stations, gas processing plants, liquids pumping stations and other ancillary equipment utilized at these facilities.
  • Gas Measurement opportunities with data analysis, troubleshooting problems, testing and verifying equipment, and process improvement associated with Gas and Liquid Measurement, Chromatography, Metrology, Flow Computers, and Data Analytics Tools.
  • Emissions Testing opportunities including field testing, emissions measurement, environmental performance analysis, and data validation. Exposure to emissions testing methodologies requiring an understanding of thermodynamics, chemistry, statistical analysis and data analytics tools used to evaluate operational performance, identify trends, and transform large, complex datasets into actionable engineering insights
What You Need
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Working towards Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Petroleum, or Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum GPA: 3.0
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams of people, either during school, work, or personal life - candidate must describe in detail during the interview
  • Self‑motivated and driven, with demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Ability to speak publicly in front of groups
  • Ability to function effectively in both a team and individual environment
  • Attention to detail and strong computer skills are essential
  • Driven to discover and determined to deliver
  • Open to travel in the United States
  • Houston Headquarters Work Location
