Job summary

Peterbilt Motors Company in Denton, Texas, is seeking an HR Intern to support our Human Resources team with recruiting, interviewing, and process improvement projects. The role will provide hands-on experience across HR, Safety, and Training functions.

You will assist with mechanical assessment proctoring, prepare communications materials, and develop PowerPoints and videos while collaborating with experienced colleagues in a global organization.

Responsibilities

Requisition Summary

Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, has an opening for a HR Intern to add to our Human Resources team in Denton, Texas.

Job Responsibilities

This position will be working on various projects and reports to include but not limited to:

• Assist with proctoring mechanical assessments for shop floor applicants
• Various recruiting activities
• Work with staff on identifying process improvement opportunities for existing procedures
• Assist with interviewing applicants
• Rotation through the plant HR, Safety and Training departments
• Communications material including creation of flyers for events or activities at Peterbilt
• Creation of PowerPoints and videos
• Other tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications

The candidate we seek will be currently enrolled in a Human Resources, Business, or a related program.
