Job summary

Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR company, seeks an HR Intern to join our Human Resources team in Denton, Texas. The position supports recruiting activities, process improvements, interviewing, and project work while you gain hands-on experience in a global automotive leader.

You must be currently enrolled in a Human Resources, Business, or related program and proficient in Microsoft Office; video editing skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with proctoring mechanical assessments for shop floor applicants.
• Various recruiting activities.
• Identify process improvement opportunities for existing procedures.
• Assist with interviewing applicants.
• Rotation through the plant HR, Safety and Training departments.
• Create communications materials including flyers for events or activities.
• Create PowerPoints and videos.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Requisition Summary

Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, has an opening for a HR Intern to add to our Human Resources team in Denton, Texas.

Job Responsibilities

This position will be working on various projects and reports to include but not limitedto:

• Assist with proctoring mechanical assessments for shop floor applicants
• Various recruiting activities
• Work with staff on identifying process improvement opportunities for existing procedures
• Assist with interviewing applicants
• Rotation through the plant HR, Safety and Training departments
• Communications material including creation of flyers for events or activities at Peterbilt
• Creation of PowerPoints and videos
• Other tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications

The candidate we seek will be currently enrolled in a Human Resources, Business, or a related program.
